The controller responsible for data processing is the operator of the TimeSwitcher platform. If you have questions about data protection, you can contact us via the Platform.
During registration, we collect your name, email address and a password. When using the Platform, we also process profile data (location, skills, availability), booking data, message content and review data.
For identity verification, we collect information from your identity document (name, date of birth, document type) as well as an image of the document and, if applicable, a selfie.
We process your data to provide the Platform, to mediate services, to verify identity, to process bookings and time credits, and to ensure security.
The legal bases are your consent, the performance of a contract and our legitimate interests in the secure operation of the Platform.
The ID data is processed to verify your identity. The automated check also verifies the expiry date of the document. The images of your ID are stored securely and are not shown to other users. They only see the verification status.
By submitting your ID, you consent to the processing of the data it contains for the purpose of verification. You can request a manual review.
We do not share your data with third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. payment service provider), for the enforcement of legal claims or due to legal obligations.
Technical service providers that support identity verification are only involved to the necessary extent and are contractually bound to confidentiality.
We store your data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. ID data is deleted after verification is completed, unless a statutory retention obligation exists.
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.
